Why Sunny Budget Exists
Most budgeting apps ask for your bank login on day one. They connect to aggregators, pull your transaction history, and store it on their servers. Some sell that data to advertisers. Others use it to target you with "personalized" financial products.
Sunny Budget takes a different approach. We built a zero-knowledge budgeting tool where your data is encrypted on your device before it ever touches our servers. We can't read your transactions, and we don't want to.
The result is a P&L-style budget that shows you where your money goes, forecasts your cashflow, and helps you plan ahead—without the privacy tradeoffs.
What We Believe
Privacy is not a feature. It's a foundation.
Your financial data should stay on your device. We built our encryption architecture to make that the default, not an upgrade.
Simple tools are powerful tools.
You shouldn't need a finance degree to understand your money. We focus on clarity and avoid feature bloat.

Current Status
Sunny Budget is in invite-only beta. We're building carefully, adding features based on real feedback, and fixing bugs as they surface.
Free to use. Sunny Budget is free. If we introduce paid features in the future, we'll be transparent about what's changing and why.
No investors, no ads, no data sales. This is a self-funded project. Our business model is straightforward: build something useful, charge a fair price for premium features eventually. Your data is never the product.
